the killing moon will come too soon
i am so excited about this! echo and the bunnymen will be playing “ocean rain” with an orchestra in it’s entirety at radio city music hall in october to celebrate their 30 years in existence. you can get presale tickets starting 4/26 on their website by signing up for their newsletter or wait until they go on sale to the general public a week later.
they’ll also be releasing a new album this summer. and ian himself thinks it’s pretty badass describing it as: “probably the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. I’ve got my crocodilian spike back — that way I write lyrics about everything and nothing specific”

It looks like I need to take a month long trip to NYC from September thru October! MBV & Echo!! Two of the most important bands in the history of alternative music! I knew MBV had reunited & were on tour, but I didn’t know that they had posted any US dates yet. WOW! Wonder if they will play any other states? If they don’t, NYC – here I come!
