Here We Go Again
Every other week some actress goes around making claims that she’s the phattest star in Hollywood. Believe it or not, at one point Keira Knightley was spreading this bunk around and now it’s Christina Ricci’s turn. Chrisina seems to think that if she was just starting out in the business, she’d be screwed. Says Ricci: ”Seriously, if I was just starting out in this business, I’d probably have to lose 20lbs. As a teenager, my favourite rejection was, ‘She looks too healthy’, which of course translates as, ‘She needs to lose weight.’ But I never had any illusions. I knew I would never be cast as the pretty girl. I went through an awkward adolescence and had braces.”
I don’t see how she could possibly stand to lose 20lbs and still be alive, so maybe she’s exaggerating to make her point. Acting slags are getting miraculously smaller by the minute and it’s creepy.
Maybe she mean’t that is she was just starting out she would be 20 pounds heavier?
Oh, spare me the crap!
Christina Ricci was way bigger when she started out, as was Posh, Teri Hatcher, Nicole Ritchie etc and like them, she slimmed herself right down.
Her comments make no GD sense.
