It Was An EMOtional Day

Posted in Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz by Anners Scribonia on May 17, 2008

These two got married yesterday.   I want to say some smart ass shit about the groomsmen wearing hoodies and the bridesmaids wearing new faces but I won’t because that’s mean  and also pretty stupid.  Plus it’s cute when people fall in love and get married!

A spokesslut for these two awful singers told People Magazine that:   ”We’re delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends.”  Sweetness.  Ashlee is also PREGGERS.  Yep.

It was Whorlando’s fault

Posted in Kate Bosworth, Orlando Bloom by jane121 on May 17, 2008

Well sort of:

They still asking Bozzers about her ano stage from yonks back – she replied; “It was my first very difficult break-up with someone I loved deeply and no matter how much I ate, it didn’t matter. I hold all my emotions in the pit of my stomach, so it became difficult to eat. I remember going to a nutritionist and asking, ‘Do I have a parasite?”

Yeah, I guess I can buy that – but what explains her current state?

Good news for America

Posted in Mischa Barton by jane121 on May 17, 2008

Mischa Barton has moved to Paris. She will no longer be posing any danger on the roads of Los Angeles and perhaps now we won’t have to put up with so many paparazzi shots of her. It was probably a good idea for Mischa as she hasn’t had a hit film since, since ………… the 6th sense?

Overexposure was probably one of the reasons her film career has bombed (lack of talent was the other). Perhaps she can come back once we have all forgotten about her and she has had a few acting lessons.

Now if she would just stop turning up to parties at Cannes (who let her in anyway?).

the only one

Posted in The Cure by tiffers euphonious on May 17, 2008

the cure put out the first of 4 singles prior to the release of their new album in september this past tuesday. it’s called the only one and here is a mini review from pitchfork. i can’t say i’m the biggest fan of the song but i kind of like the video (and i love porl’s guitar!)

they also released another song called ny trip. robert was so thinking of me when he wrote it ;) i like this song more than the only one but they both are kind of lacking that cure angsty-ness that i adore.

wino thinks dreamy’s music is shit

Posted in Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty by tiffers euphonious on May 17, 2008

i laughed so hard when i saw this byline so i thought i would just use it as the title of my post, too ;) dreamy? try nightmarish these days…

holy ephing shite – they certainly look like two bright little rays of sunshine.

ok, this is what i don’t get. petie must be a glutton for punishment. wino laughed when she heard about him heading to the slammer, she slags off his music calling it shite and giant sores appear on his face after being near her and still, he’s in some crack-ety creepy ass gravitational pull towards her. i know i am far from subjective on this topic but could someone try explaining it to me? i know, i know, don’t bother :(

dollhouse

Posted in dollhouse, eliza dushku, joss whedon by tiffers euphonious on May 17, 2008

any other joss whedon fans out there? i was so ocd about buffy the vampire slayer. my friends and i actually had buffy parties (especially when it started getting closer to the end) and wednesday mornings were always occupied with chattering about what had happened on the previous night’s episode.

anyway, joss is starting up a new show called dollhouse with eliza dushku (faith from buffy). i am thrilled to see it although it won’t be out til early next year. a description of the show from entertainment weekly: Evoking memories of Alias, Samantha Who?, The Pretender, and Total Recall — then wiping them away with the promise of Whedon’s distinctively hilarious, humane, high-strange vision — Dollhouse follows Dushku’s Echo, a mysterious agent with no identity except for the personalities imprinted on her and then deleted by her employer depending on the wishes and needs of wealthy clients. Between assignments, Echo lives inside a cushy secret HQ with other blank-slate dolls in a state of oblivious, hyper-healthy bliss…though as the series unfolds, she’s starting to remember stuff she shouldn’t.

and here is a clip for your viewing pleasure:
