he’s just not that into you

i loved the book he’s just not that into you. hilarious and fairly blunt. for those of you not familiar i believe it was based on a popular episode of sex and the city where miranda is told that a guy isn’t into her by carrie’s boyfriend berger. it was pretty hilarious. so one of the sex and the city writers (and her husband who made the initial comment) made a hugely popular book about understanding guys. or something. i think it’s weird that they are making it in to a movie but i figured the trailer was worth a watch and it looks like your typical romantic comedy with all the familiar faces (jennifer aniston, scarlett johannson, ben affleck, drew barrymore, etc and so on). i’m so going to admit that i’ll be going to see this when it comes out even though it looks like it might be a bit pathetic and uncomfortable to watch. anyone else a fan?

if this is true it is sad and just further confirmation that tom cruise sucks. he is allegedly trying to drive a wedge between nicole and their two adopted children isabella and connor.

Sharon Stone has again managed to do something incredibly stupid and offensive. Who else would make a statement as ludricrous as this:

“I’m, you know, not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans, because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else. And so, I have been very concerned about how to think and what to do about that because I don’t like … that. And then I’ve been, this, you know, concerned about, oh, how should we deal with the Olympics, because they’re not being nice to the Dali Lama who is a good friend of mine. And then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?”

So the universe decided to take over 65,000 innocent lives because the Chinese government is not being very nice? Try explaining that to all the villagers who have lost a loved one.

Hasn’t she ever heard the phrase ‘think before you speak’?

When Keira Speaks, I Listen

KK speaks!   I live for Keira Knightley quotes!  They are always just floating around out there like free radicals.   This one is on the subject of laughter and how it relates to sess appeal, shagging, etc.  Sayeth Keira:  ”I think people get laughed into bed, don’t they?”  Of course, this all relates to her upcoming movie about the phugly, but amusing poet, Dylan Thomas.  The movie’s called The Edge of Love and I’ve been on The Edge of my GD seat waiting for this splendid phuckery to hurry up get released!  Until that joyous day arrives, I shall have to content myself with quotes, quotes, and more quotes: 

“Dylan Thomas did s**g around but you look at pictures of him and he was no hunk.  However, his poetry is extraordinary. He’s a mischief-maker, a puck. He just wants to prod and see what happens.” 

How damned odd!  He’s been deceased for about 1200 years, yet he’s still a mischief-maker, a puck, and he’s prodding around and seeing what happens!

Little Shiloh turned 2 over the weekend. She sure is growing up fast and won’t be the baby of the family much longer with her mum being heavily pregnant with twins.

Brad and Angie sure are gonna have their hands full with 6 little ones to take care of.

Kiki comes clean

I really need to stop dumping my moral outrage on this blog (sorry) and get back to celeb gossip. Too bad the first story I found was a little depressing.

Kiki looks like she’s had a shower and given her hair a brush! She has also opened up about the true reason for her stint in rehab. She explained that is was actually due to depression and that: “It was a good six months before I decided to go away. I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too. But I didn’t know where to go. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge.”

Poor Kiki - at least it seems things are looking up for her. That’s dress she is wearing is even kinda cute.

Oh, and she claims she is not dating Ryan Gosling.
