Al Franken Is Gonna Get The Senate Seat
Al Franken won! I don’t know why I care (maybe because I’m a democrat?), but it totes looks like Al Franken is going to be a Minnesota Senator. He’s pretty damn smart, he used to be on SNL when it was funny and he wrote a book called Rush Limbaugh is a Big, Fat Idiot: you’d think this would have been enough to grant him an easy victory last November, but it was not. Doesn’t matter, though, because he won.
The incumbent senator, some Repub slag named Norm Coleman is hell bent on phighting this though. If he does, he’s going to lose and he’s also going to look really stupit.

Yay! I remember Al Franken from the old SNL days, he used to partner up with some guy named Davis (i.e. Franken and Davis). I totally just aged myself.

I am also thrilled with his election. He went to Harvard, ya know. This country needs many more well educated people like him in Congress. Maybe they can fix what got broke over the last 8 years.
