I’ll Take That Back, Now
Ms. Californication and her gleaming block of teethers lost their crown the other day. Ms. Californication keeps saying that she got phired because of her beliefs. She believes that gay folk should not be allowed to get married, but that Christians should be allowed to take Ho pictures and get their ta-ta’s plumped with man-made materials if they decide to pursue a modeling career.
I’m pretty sure that God disagrees with her, though.
Pageant officials say she’s full of shiz and that her being fired has nothing at all to do with her beliefs. Sayeth them pageant folk: “This was a decision based solely on contract violations including Ms Prejean’s unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the Miss California USA organisation.”
Guess what? When you fail to show up to work, your phake ass gets fired. Booyah.
uummmm, they already determined that she was not going to be fired because she did not violate her contract. That press conference was held. If part of her duty as Ms. Cali is to pose for playboy and show up on a lame tv show, then we’ve got our priorities messed up. Carrie holds the opinion of millions of Americans! and she lost her job because she spoke up. Such a thing used to exist called free speech. People for gay marriage get free speech…America is behaving like spoiled children!

Huh? Who said that was part of her duty? What do you determine a ‘lame tv show” to be? Isn’t the Miss America pageant a lame TV show in and of itself?

It still exists. Ever seen Fox News or heard Rush Limbaugh? It’s still okay to be racist, bigoted and stupid… I don’t have a problem with Carrie’s beliefs. She just didn’t support them very well. To say that you’re against gay marriage because you weren’t “raised that way” isn’t a very good argument. You could also be raised to be racist or whatever. Doesn’t make it right.
To think that marriage should only be between a man and woman due to religous beliefs is fine too. Just be sure to keep some semblance of respect for religion. Her naked posing (to incite lust in men … huge sin!) is not something God would smile on.
