My eardrums have been waiting about 8 years for this. Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions will put out some new shiz as early as August (an EP called Blanchard) and a brand new album that will be out on Septemebr 1st 2009. The album is called Through the Devil Softly. I wonder if I should be scared? The devil is scary!
Whatevers. Mazzy Star lovers all around the world should rejoice and meet each other for a glass of wine at their local pub or something because this is as good as it’s going to get for the next 10+ years probably. Hope’s voice is magic.
P.S. I forgot to add that they are probably going to go on tour too! Phuck yes.

One of problems betwixt Kate Mossers and her boyfriend, is that Mossers likes to sing all day and all night and her boyfriend can’t stand her witch-baby vocal chords. He’s banned her ass from singing in his presence or something because he finds her witch-warbling to be distracting.
A source that can attest to the fact that Mossers never shuts the songs the phuck up says: “When she’s not working, Kate likes nothing more than getting some pals over to her place after lunch, cracking open a couple of bottles and then singing to her heart’s content. But Jamie is getting a little tired of the lengthy sing-a-longs and has now told her that she can only rock the mic for just half an hour a day.”
Sounds lke fun to me. I even understand Katers a littlebecause singing is therapeutic in every single way. I’ve been known to sing for several hours myself when the need presents itsself. So her boyfriend needs to STFU forever and let Moss do her thing.
